Key Responsibilities
Advanced System Administration Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows server technologies, including but not limited to Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022.
Manage complex environments with multiple servers, including clustering, load balancing, and failover solutions. Oversee the configuration and maintenance of services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
System Optimization and Performance Management Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability. Implement and manage high-availability solutions and disaster recovery planning. Conduct regular performance tuning and capacity planning.
Security and Compliance Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure the security of Windows servers and networks.Perform security audits and risk assessments, and implement corrective actions as necessary. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Technical Leadership and Mentorship Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior system administrators and IT staff. Lead IT projects, including planning, resource allocation, and implementation. Develop and conduct training sessions for IT staff and end-users.
Advanced Troubleshooting and Support Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Windows servers, software applications, and networking. Provide high-level support for escalated issues and serve as the final point of resolution. Maintain detailed documentation of issues, solutions, and best practices.
Automation and Scripting Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline system administration tasks. Utilize PowerShell and other scripting languages to automate routine processes and improve efficiency.
Collaboration and Communication Collaborate with other IT teams, departments, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and operation of IT systems. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on system status, project progress, and any potential issues.
