How to Open Firewall on VMware View Composer?

When you install VMware View Composer 2.5 that comes with VMware View 4.5, you experience the following 2 types of errors:

• VMware View Composer – Unable to open firewall
• VMware View Composer – Unable to close firewall

That is, if you have turned off the Windows Dedicated Server firewall, then you face an error “open firewall”, and if turned on – then “unable to close”. In this case, you need to do installation under the administrator.

Solution: Start the installation by clicking the right mouse button on the setup file View Composer and selecting “Run As Administrator“.
